Super Mario Sunshine Walkthrough

Released in 2002 for the Nintendo GameCube Super Mario Sunshine is the second 3D Mario platformer to be released following on of course from Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64 that was released way back in 1996. This lineage may also explain why Mario Sunshine features a total of 120 shines, much like the 120 stars of Mario 64. Super Mario Sunshine is a really awesome game that I strongly recommend to all Mario fans! Set on Isle Delfino, where Mario is taking a vaction, things go a bit pear shaped when the villain "Shadow Mario" appears and starts vandalizing the town! Mario gets blamed for the mess (the injustice of it all!) and is ordered to clean up the graffiti, along the way Mario must rescue the Princess and Yoshi who have both been kidnapped by Shadow Mario. As well as introducing Shadow Mario, Super Mario sunshine has introduced a wealth of characters and items into the regular Mario scene including the FLUDD (Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device), Bowser Jr., Toadsworth, Piantas, Petey Piranha, Gooper Blooper and Nokis. Shine's were also introduced in this game and have since popped up in other Mario games such as the Mario Kart series, Paper Mario the thousand-year door, Mario power tennis and many more.
