Super Mario World Walkthrough

Super Mario World was originally released on November 21st 1990 (Probably before most of our visitors were born!) and was the first Mario game made for the Super Nintendo/Super Famicon. Many people don’t know but SMW was known as “Super Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World” in Japan! Unsurprisingly this masterpiece of gamery was another production of Shigeru Miyamoto who brought us the other Mario classics as well as Zelda, star fox, Pikman and more! This game really made an impact on Nintendo as it has a very successful successor in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and even spurred on a cartoon series of the same name.

I should mention that SMW is actually probably one of my favourite Mario games so I hope this walkthrough helps you enjoy it as much as I do! Are you stuck in the forest of illusion? Can’t quite find that entrance to the blue switch palace? It’s behind the water level called Forrest of Illusion 2 in case you were wondering! It can be pretty frustrating getting stuck in any Mario game but Super Mario World can be particularly annoying if you are new to it! I personally find it is best to try and play through the whole game before turning to cheats or level guides but everyone has a different approach to games! Admittedly I have been stuck a few times and have turned to the answers of the internet...
