Here’s my tribute to those fun days of mashing that A and B button until I had what we labeled NINTENDOITUS.

I’m sure we can all remember those days (or we may still be living them…)! Either way, enjoy this fantastic Mario Bros tribute sketch!

Somehow I found this video ridiculously transfixing. I think it has something to do with the strange choice of colours and the intoxicating beat…Admittedly I haven’t actually played Just Dance on the Wii but that didn’t stop me enjoying watching Mario bust some serious moves!

Ah the iconic plumber Mario, blue overalls, white gloves and a mustache. Whenever you get used to seeing someone with glasses on and then they suddenly don’t wear them you can tell things are a little bit…different. Mario isn’t immune to this phenomenon either, imagine him without his trade mark mustache!

I have some good news for you, you don’t need to imagine any longer. No bells, no Whistles, just Mario without a mustache! Enjoy!

Those guys at IGN are actually pretty funny…This little skit I am lead to believe is actually completely improv and didn’t have a script! Maybe lies but either way this is actually pretty amusing. Titled “Mario is miserable” this funny video shows Mario and the princess having a frank real world discussion…hilarity follows.

Ah to be young again…this kid has it all, snappy overalls, a colour TV and a brand new NES…the world is his oyster. I wonder where he is now? Surely a dedicated Nintendo fan of this caliber is still circulating the internet? This kid must have set the standard of cool on his block with all of this awesome Nintendo merchandise and I hear the ladys really dig a man that can pull off a red hat with an M on it!

A friend of mine sent me this picture and I just had to share it with you all. If nothing more this image offers a wonderful time capsule of what life was like in the 80’s and early 90’s for those of you that didn’t get to experience them. Some of this stuff would probably be worth some money now I’m sure!

Whenever you think you have seen it all the internet brings you something new to enjoy. I don’t know a whole lot about this Mario Video but I can tell you that it is awesome. This is one of the more creative ways I have seen a video game recreated through theater! This group of dedicated Mario enthusiasts have used some sort of fluorescent paint and clothes in combination with a black light to depict the first levels of Super Mario Bros and also a fight with Bowser!

Ah beat boxing, possibly the best kind of boxing, or at least a close second. Pair this up with Super Mario and you know it’s going to be good, 13+ million youtube views can’t be wrong either. This masterpiece was created by HIKAKIN who accurately claims himself as “a Japanese Beatboxer” in his youtube description. Ah Mario, how do you seem to work with anything in life? It doesn’t matter what situation you may be in, Mario could fit into it seamlessly! Emy has sent me a video of her and Bex performing a super Mario brothers pole dance routine! Emy and Bex recently entered a UK Amateur pole fitness competition with a tomb raider routine and then put together this awesome Mario dance routine as the final performance! Not sure if they won or not but they are certainly winners in Mario Mayhem’s eyes!
