When one thinks of making things with ice creme sticks you usually think of a rickety little house or maybe a poorly constructed stick figure by a 6 year old. Well, the YouTube channel Cranmer Guitars took this idea and went completely overboard and build a freaking Super Mario World inspired Guitar! You won’t believe the work and effort that was put into this masterpiece. It also makes you wonder, how much would you pay for a Super Mario Guitar? I don’t want to think about it!

Somehow I have always enjoyed watching people play video games! At times, it’s actually more enjoyable for me then being the one controlling the “mennies” (that means “characters” for those of you not familiar with my Dad’s video game slang)! What does this little anecdote have to do with this post? Not much really, other than with this awesome collection of 32 animated Mario gif’s you can almost get the illusion of someone playing super Mario for you. Many thanks to Julien (aka “Trudbol”) for taking the time to email me not only some kind words about Mario Mayhem but also his amazing video of his rendition of the Super Mario World theme!

This awesome acapella (plus guitar) style version of the super Mario world theme is really awesome and is apparently a joint project between SongeLeReveur and Trudbol however Trudbol didn’t elaborate on the collaboration and who did what, either way I think this is a really cool video.
