Today I thought we would reflect a little at the wonders of the human brain. Why is it that I can’t remember calculus but I can remember that there is a secret coin block in Super Mario Brothers 1 right here randomly in these bricks?

This would have taken a seriously long time to make! Sure it is a tool assisted play through but along with the maps, editing and actual play time this is an amazing effort! This video shows you an almost complete play through of Super Mario bros 3 on the NES! No warp pipes are used but the hammer does help skip a couple of levels. If you ever wanted to learn how to play SMB3 like a pro this might give you some tips!

Somehow I have always enjoyed watching people play video games! At times, it’s actually more enjoyable for me then being the one controlling the “mennies” (that means “characters” for those of you not familiar with my Dad’s video game slang)! What does this little anecdote have to do with this post?
