Without Mario, this site would never exists.

Without Mario, Nintendo could have fallen, with no other leading franchise.

but yeah we wouldn't have platformers in the same way, and we wouldn't have Talon and Ingo from Ocarina of Time XD

We likely wouldn't have video games as we know them today.

Remember, Mario pretty much told people that, "Hey, video games aren't so bad!" after the big VG crash.

plus he helped bring games into the common household
