I gotta say Super Mario World. It brought secret exits, making you want to find all of them, it's good quality yet keeps its nostalgia, and it brings the best form of flying.

Mine perhaps is SMB3. Because, the music is unique, the levels are fun and excellently designed, the enemies and their characteristics are outstanding, and the graphics from the Advance version are my favorite.

anyways, I changed my mind. Super Mario World is my favorite now.

I'm so indecisive, so here's a couple of my top picks:

2D- This is a toughie, but I guess I'd have to choose Super Mario World for the nostalgic value. I loved the addition of Yoshi, the cape power up, and the "spin" ability, the levels were varied and challenging, and well... this game is just a masterpiece, really.

3D- Hmmm... I suppose the first Super Mario Galaxy. Although the second one improved everything and was fantastic in its own right, there was something magical about shooting through the sky and running on a 360 degrees plane for the first time. The story was very charming and cute, and also had [more] Rosalina.

RPG- Good gracious, Super Paper Mario! <3 I know that it kicked out the turn-based battle system from the previous Paper Mario games, but I actually liked the old-fashioned platforming thing it had going on. Also, it's one of the funniest games I've ever played. XD

Spin off- I quite liked Mario Superstar Baseball when my friend introduced me to it, but I also love Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, so I suppose it's a tie between those two. ^^;;

I think mine has to be Super Mario Galaxy/Super Mario Galaxy 2, because....well, they're bright and colourful, they have awsome levels and characters, a great plot, fantastic music. Mario Galaxy was the reason i wanted a Wii. I played it on my friend's Wii and just fell in love with it.

oh god - that game was artistically incredible!! and the soundtrack still blows me away

I have also played many games of Mario, but I like Super Mario, which is one of the most successful games and the very first character of my video game world. I really like to play it a lot even now.

Super Mario Bros always, no other game can be as closer to my heart as this game is.
