Okay, I like both Mario Bros. the same. I reckon a few people would.

But searching through Youtube it is amazing how many people think Luigi is better than Mario, or don't even like Mario at all.

My Guess is there are people here who have the same thoughts. My question is... WHY?!?!

Yeah, I know there are some great things about Luigi, but the same can be said for Mario too! Why do people reject him?

For me, it depends on the game. In 2D games, I tend to go with Luigi just because he jumps better. In 3D games, I always go with Mario because, for one, you're forced to play as him xD, and two, Luigi doesn't look right in 3D.

So for me, it's a pretty tough decision. In terms of gameplay, I'd go with Luigi, in terms of likability and character design(atleast in 3D), I'd go with Mario. I'd say it's both for me.

I always liked Luigi better because I thought he was the neglected brother. Maybe that's why people think he's better, because Mario has tons of games all about him and Luigi only gets Luigi's Mansion.

Luigi > Mario IMO
