Mario had a great series going until they released this game. I only dislike it because I really hate golf. I enjoy playing as Mario characters though Tongue But that is besides the point. Does anyone else like it?
I actually have never enjoyed mario golf.
Heh pretty much no one has. I didn't either i'm just saying that I like playing as mario characters Tongue
My dad liked it, the only thing that really impressed me was its large selection of characters. (It has some really weird, obscure ones like Sunny too).
That's why I slightly liked it Tongue

Mario Golf looked good but when I played it I didn't feel the love I feel when I play a Mario Game

They already released NES Open, (a golf game which featured Mario on the cartridge cover). (I forgot to mention that... Tongue).
Although Mario Golf is a little on the cutesy side, anyone who wants a great golf game need look no further. There really isn't much of a choice, even if there were, Mario Golf would likely be your best bet anyway. This is a top-quality golf game, despite the cartoony premise. Anyone who would turn a blind eye to Mario Golf because of its exterior qualities will be missing perhaps the best golf game on a console. With an extensive amount of options in either single-player or multiplayer, Mario Golf is the game that will keep on giving. It's not like golf games suffer from the need to update on a yearly basis, like, say, hockey games. Therefore, to say that this game has lasting power would be an understatement. While a true golf fanatic would certainly enjoy this, perhaps the most important thing is that it's user friendly enough to appeal to the masses. As far as golf games go, and as a game in general, Mario Golf comes highly recommended.
The GCN version is better in almost everyway, but the N64 build is not without its charm.

There are 2 things that bug me, though:
1. Who exactly are those other people?
2. Bowser is IMPOSSIBLE to beat in Get Character mode. >Sad
I tried to search regards in this thread which is Mario Golf;

Mario Golf is a sports game developed by Camelot Software Planning and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. In the game, Mario, his friends, and his enemies play golf on a variety of Mario-themed courses. It is the second game in the Mario Golf series (though the first to carry that name). Its tagline was "Tee up with Mario and his friends!"

Mario Golf was re-released on the virtual console in Japan on September 30, 2008, in North America on October 6, 2008[1] and in Europe and Australia on January 23, 2009.
