For many of us, some of our earliest\nmemories in gaming could certainly be found in different handheld consoles\nthrough classics like the Gameboy that brought many of the big names in gaming\nto the household \u2013 the likes of Mario, Pok\u00e9mon, and The Legend of Zelda were\nable to find huge success through handheld gaming, but the release and success\nof modern smartphones over a decade ago has led to a huge shift away from\nhandheld gaming in a sense \u2013 but there is still some hope, as one platform\ncontinues to keep the handheld gaming market alive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Nintendo Switch has been quietly\noutselling the other big platforms<\/a> since it\u2019s release and posts huge\nnumbers and is regarded as one of the best consoles released of all time \u2013 the\ngames that have come along with it are also widely regarded as some of the best\nreleased with names like Super Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild being\nabsolute blockbusters, and shows that there is in some regards still a huge\nmarket \u2013 whether or not this market is so successful because of the names\nattached and how ingrained into gaming they are, or if this is because the\nplatform and the games speak for themselves, but it does show there is still an\nopportunity at hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other hand has mobile gaming in mind as\nthe replacement to handheld gaming \u2013 accessibility has made the success of\nmobile gaming rocket as the lack of limited access has brought gaming to a much\nwider audience than any other platform prior, and with no additional cost for\nthe games that are played it shows no signs of slowing.
