It\noften celebrates the history of those franchises and makes an overview of their\nsuccess. Mario has experienced a few such celebrations \u2013 in 2010 the company\ncelebrated the plumber 25<sup>th<\/sup>\nanniversary with the Super Mario All-Stars edition. In 2015 on the 30<sup>th<\/sup>\nanniversary of Mario Nintendo released the 8-bit Mario amiibo edition, as well\nas the first Super Mario Maker version.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nintendo will celebrate the classic Mario titles<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nintendo has big plans for Mario\u2019s 35<sup>th<\/sup>\nanniversary which, according to various sources will satisfy the most devoted\nfans of this game. Few game news sites reported that Nintendo has plans to hold\nan event in celebration of the plumber\u2019s three and a half-decade run. The\ncompany reportedly is planning to re-release most of Mario\u2019s catalogue of games\nfrom the past years, remastered for the Nintendo Switch. Sources don\u2019t specify\nexactly which games would be included. Reportedly, Super Mario Galaxy (2007)\nand Super Mario Sunshine (2002) are included in the collection along with other\n3D Mario games.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not specified if these games will come in a single collection. However, Super Mario 3D World is getting a standalone release as a deluxe version, similar to what happened with New Super Mario Bros.U. This continues Nintendo\u2019s theme of slightly upgrading Wii U titles since <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@beausoleil\/what-make-the-wii-u-nintendos-greatest-failure-fa758aedbf8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">there was no great interest for that console<\/a>. Reports state that the new 3D World will come with an array of new levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These plans will be revealed in detail alongside an announcement\nfor the Nintendo\/Universal partnership. These two companies have a long-term\ncollaboration to put together a Super Nintendo World theme park in addition to\nan animated Super Mario movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mario adventures as an inspiration in the world of gaming<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, Nintendo revealed an interactive Lego Mario set that\ntakes players through levels as a part of the 35<sup>th<\/sup>\nanniversary commemoration. Lego\u2019s set design manager Jonathan Bennink stated\nthat a lot of design thinking went into creating Mario and that they worked\nvery closely with the Nintendo IP team. This company is digitally and\ntechnologically very strong, so they collaborated on tech and the gaming\nconcept as well. They leveraged each other\u2019s expertise and created a project\nthat will raise interest among Mario game lovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is not unusual that specifically, the game of Mario presents an inspiration for different video games, themed parks and even online slots games. The story for Mario and its adventures was presented by many slot game developers that saw the potential success. They have not made any official\nannouncements for the event, anniversary plans and list of the game releases.\nThe list of upcoming Switch games is lacking big first-party items at the\nmoment, so introducing a collection of remastered Mario classics would be a\nnice way to make a better impression.\n\nRumours\nprovide no information about which 2D Mario games could be released. It\u2019s worth\nmentioning that a lot of them are already available on Switch through the\nNintendo Switch Online subscription. We can only wait and see if this stops\nthem from including the 2D version in the new collection.
