This is just creepy. “The designers of the site Pixeloon, managed to render a quite realistic as would be the real face of Mario, hero of the nintendo games.” Apparently it was made in photoshop cs2 by pasting a number of faces over a Nintendo render of Mario.

I don’t think I’ll ever look at Mario quite the same again…

This cake isn’t quite as impressive as our previous wedding cake, but this is still pretty amazing. The detail around the cake alone must have taken insane amounts of time.

The cool thing about this cake is we get to see the creators original sketch too. Enjoy!

Damn this is cool, apparently they are 110dB loud!

The music that you hear is coming from the sparks that these two identical high power solid state Tesla coils are generating. There are no speakers involved. The Tesla coils stand 7 feet tall and are each capable of putting out over 12 foot of spark. They are spaced about 18 feet apart. The coils are controlled over a fiber optic link by a single laptop computer. Each coil is assigned to a midi channel which it responds to by playing notes that are programmed into the computer software.

This is by far the best Mario, or any video game styled, cake I have ever seen. The pictures say much more than words could.

This is a video of the allegedly real Super Chuck Norris Bros. Game. As the video shows you basically roundhouse kick, grab chainsaws or shotguns, and basically cause as much damage as you possibly can.

These Yellow bath bombs start fizzing and “releasing a fragrant scent as they fill your bath water with yellow foam” once you put them in your bath. They only cost $6 and each one has a hidden Mario figure inside!

Someone has taken the time to hack Mario 64 and made it a tad more…explosive. Thanks to Hannah for e-mailing me with it.

Another Shadow find! This cat tries to catch Mario on the screen…perhaps it will inspire Nintendo and they will replace bowser with a cat?

I am so glad Shadow found this image! I used to play on a similar machine in my younger years and I am in love with it still to this day. If anyone ever sees one of these old Mario pinball machines play a game for me!
