Those guys at IGN are actually pretty funny…This little skit I am lead to believe is actually completely improv and didn’t have a script! Maybe lies but either way this is actually pretty amusing. Titled “Mario is miserable” this funny video shows Mario and the princess having a frank real world discussion…hilarity follows.

Whenever you think you have seen it all the internet brings you something new to enjoy. I don’t know a whole lot about this Mario Video but I can tell you that it is awesome. This is one of the more creative ways I have seen a video game recreated through theater! This group of dedicated Mario enthusiasts have used some sort of fluorescent paint and clothes in combination with a black light to depict the first levels of Super Mario Bros and also a fight with Bowser!

Ah beat boxing, possibly the best kind of boxing, or at least a close second. Pair this up with Super Mario and you know it’s going to be good, 13+ million youtube views can’t be wrong either. This masterpiece was created by HIKAKIN who accurately claims himself as “a Japanese Beatboxer” in his youtube description. Ah Mario, how do you seem to work with anything in life? It doesn’t matter what situation you may be in, Mario could fit into it seamlessly! Emy has sent me a video of her and Bex performing a super Mario brothers pole dance routine! Emy and Bex recently entered a UK Amateur pole fitness competition with a tomb raider routine and then put together this awesome Mario dance routine as the final performance! Not sure if they won or not but they are certainly winners in Mario Mayhem’s eyes!

This awesome acapella (plus guitar) style version of the super Mario world theme is really awesome and is apparently a joint project between SongeLeReveur and Trudbol however Trudbol didn’t elaborate on the collaboration and who did what, either way I think this is a really cool video.

Ah the 80’s! They brought us a lot of awesome movies, a lot of awesome music and a lot of questionable fashion ideas…This classic80’s commercial is advertising the brand new Game Genie! It connects to most of your favourite games! I loved having the game genie, the infinite flight cheat you could use for the princess in Super Mario Bros 2 was truly amazing and I remember still struggling to pass contra even with infinite lives!

For those of you that don’t know the game genie was an attachment that would slide onto a NES cartridge and would then allow you to enter a series of codes to unlock certain cheats. The codes themselves were housed in a small game genie book that listed games alphabetically.

This video is hilarious! I love how far marketing has come in just a few short years and whilst I love this ad quite a lot I am thankful that we don’t have to put up with this style of ad on a day to day basis anymore!

I have seen bits and pieces of this ad put together in animated gif’s but I never actually knew it was a DS advertisement! In my eyes this just makes it all the more cool I think.

This is a pretty amazing fan video that someone has made using Mario Plush toys and Mario sound effects! I really love how Mario somehow inspires people to make such amazing things! Great level of detail put into this and I imagine the filming alone would have been very time consuming, not to mention the all of the editing! A great piece of Mario fan work! Enjoy!

After many hours spent playing Super Mario Sunshine I am sure I’m not the only one who wishes that the F.L.U.D.D existed in real life. Man it would be cruisy to just jet around in the sun, charming princesses and de-graffiti-ing the world.

Maybe it’s more possible than we think?
