Mario 30th Anniversary New 3Ds

This Super Mario variation was released during the 30th anniversary of Mario. Moreover, it was also a celebration of Nintendo itself. You can also see Wii Fit Trainer, Star Fox, and Pixel versions on the handheld. This means that it might be possibly linked to Super Mario Maker because you could get those characters through Amiibo input. This was widely released in Japan only.

Bathing Ape DS

It is critical to remember that Bathing Ape is a clothing brand based in Japan. They collaborated with Nintendo to distribute two different versions of the DS model. Nintendo used the stores to sell the versions. They made only 5000 copies.

New Super Marios Bros 2 3DS XL

This variation of the 3DS XL received a North American release in 2012. It also coincided with New Super Mario Bros. 2 release. However, Luigi does not feature on the handheld cover in the artwork. This is despite the fact that the game was marketed as a coop platformer. It is an excellent artwork, and it was a good deal for it to come with the game. However, it would be better if Luigi featured.

Puzzles And Dragons New 3DS XL

This variation of the 3DS XL is very rare because only four of them were made. The company distributed this version through a Puzzles and Dragons contest in Japan which is odd considering it is a phone game. In the future, Nintendo would join forces on a 3DS game crossing over the two properties – Puzzle & Dragons Z and Super Mario Bros. This handheld could be the spark that kicked off the project.

Mario 35th Game & Watch

As mentioned earlier, Mario celebrated the 35th blowout in 2020. This Game and Watch handheld are among the last projects released. The Game and Watch had not been released in any form for many years. As a result, releasing this handheld series with this deck-out Mario edition was a welcome throwback. Moreover, it was different from the NES or SNES mini consoles as Nintendo made several.
