Just a quick question I'm wondering about...When I was changing my time settings, I noticed that none of the times are correct for me. The time as I'm typing this is 6:48 over here, but all of the times are like 6:32, 7:02, etc.. So, is this just an error or does it have to do with timezones and such? I haven't really researched all the timezones so I'm not sure exactly how much they differ.

Hrm what do you mean by the other times? Are they like the last posts in other threads? I would suspect that the time on the forums would use whatever the server time is and then convert it to your timezone, so it's possible that your clock and the server clock are just different by a few minutes.

If you look at the top right of the page, just under "Help" and the "Calendar" links you can see the current time for you on the forums. See if it matches up with your time on your computer, that could be the problem?

Ah, sorry for being unclear. What my problem is, when I go to User CP and hit "Edit Options", none of the timezones match up to mine on the drop-down list where it says "GMT -5:00, GMT -4:00", etc. etc.. The minutes are off by nearly 30 minutes. Day-light Savings Time Corrections don't fix it either. And the clock on my computer is right, as far as I know. So I'm just confused as to why the minutes don't match up <_<.

Try it again. Click on the clock that is closest to your time. When you go to that page the clock menu doesn't change as the real time does. I think that's what you mean

I don't think that will work. I didn't spend nearly 20-30 minutes on that page, changing settings XD. It wouldn't be a big deal to me if it was off, say, 5 minutes, but this is just such a huge time gap.

What timezone are you actually in? I think there may be a small bug with the dates anyway by the looks. For example I am GMT+10 and in that drop down box it shows the current time as 10:12, however it is actually 11:12am here (We are in daylight savings). When I select it and have the daylight savings box ticked it works out my time fine though, it just shows it wrong in the box.

My suggestion would be to try whatever your timezone is and just select it and see if it works. If you are having problems let me know your GMT and I'll see if I can fix it up for you.

Hmmm...The timezone I have selected is my timezone(GMT -5), so maybe it's just a problem with the minutes being slightly off? And my earlier mentions of it being nearly 30 minutes was incorrect, I had only glanced at the differences in times and got it horribly wrong. In truth the MM server is only about 14 minutes slow, so it isn't as big a gap as I had thought. Sorry xP.

That's bizarre! How about when you post and then look at the time of the post you just made? Is it still off there? It's just odd because it seems to be the right time for me and most people I guess?

<_<; Thanks...I just realized my computer clock was 14 minutes fast XD. Sorry for all the trouble, I just fixed my computer clock to where the times match. Heh...
