SMB: The Lost Levels
hard rite? Tongue

I downloaded this to my VC last week, and now I'm going to be hearing SMB game over music in my nightmares for weeks. D:

Anyway, this is one of, if not the most difficult platformers I've ever played. Discuss.

It is a pretty challenging game that's for sure Big Grin Is there anything in particular you are struggling with? or just hard to jump at the right times? Probably one of my favourite games, it was bundled with my super Mario all stars cartridge Smilie_v2_Mario

I think I'm in world 6 right now. I'm not particularly stuck on anything, it's just the jumping. I've gotten further with Mario than with Luigi. Luigi's high jump is nice, but I have a hard time landing them thanks to his God-awful traction.

O_O I can't get past World 1-2 on that game. I've had it frozen on one of the jumps on that for months now. I think I might have to play it again sometime soon just so I can advance further lol.

Yeah from my experience Mario is the way to go for the most part, the high jump with Luigi is great, but if you try playing in a castle or something with him you will end up pulling your hair out Smilie_v2_Luigi

I haven't played this game in ages, but I remember being stuck in an underground level.
Not sure which one. I might have to go re-play it xD

Amazing game! I have it on Virtual Console. I just exit via Wii Menu, and you go back to the beginning of the WORLD if you die, so it basically saves every world for me. It took me freakin' 6 months to beat World 5, but that's what makes it so fun! I play it almost every day.

I only have the GBC Port for it. I have to say, it wasn't that bad. Although there were many traps in the game which I felt were cheap. =P
