Carnivals, shows, fates and fairs! - Timby - 10-02-2008 12:03 AM

Last Sunday, Shadow, myself, my brother and his girlfriend all went to what is called "The Melbourne Show". It is a carnival type thing that happens once a year for 10 days! It has a whole heap of rides, animals, information, games, and of course Show bags! We even stayed till the end and watched motor bike tricks and fireworks, it was an awesome dayexclamation I hadn't been for a few years though and everything was a lot more expensive Smilie_v2_Bowser

Show bags are bags with a whole heap of stuff in them, themed for different products, like there is a "Mars bar" bag which centers around mars bars ^^

Some of the games you could win Mario characters, like plush toys, but I didn't win any despite trying Sad

So this day got me thinking, do you guys have anything similar where you live? Have you got any great memories of this kind of event? Fill us in!

What characters, timby?
Anyway, I hope you guys had a tiiiime!

There was a place in France and I won a crash bandicoot toy!
In Holland there was a fair and you could win Small luigis and marios.
I didn't win any, either.

In America, fairs are a staple and integral part of Autumn festivities. Tongue In my rural-Pennsylvania area there are about 4 fairs that you could go to in the course of a month. (I wouldn't recommend it though, 'cause it would get boring. Tongue).

Anyway, I always enjoy going to them with my family; and getting ripped off at the cheesy games. Tongue

Glad to hear you had a good time, Timby.
