Chapter 1
The wind blew softly, and as she sat upon the hill, Shadow thought about how peaceful this world was. Then she thought, this peace wouldn’t exist if
he hadn’t come…Mario-Man, he saved this world…Shadow sat there, remembering every moment of that perilous time. With that, this story begins…
Shadow sat in her house, on the edge of the woods just beside a small river, enjoying a book she had picked up at the local library. Just then, Timby ran in yelling, ”Shadow, a small Pokemon just dropped from the sky!!” Shadow, confused, walked outside, and there in the grass, was a Pokemon, he looked very much like a human. “What a strange Pokemon this is…” The Pokemon had a cap a lot like Mario’s, but it was black and had the symbols of all the other plumbers. “I hope this isn‘t another one of Shia‘s tricks…Shadow, what do you think of it?” Shadow just stood there, staring at the Pokemon, “Mario-Man….. ” She said. “Huh? Mario-Man?” Timby was confused, but then again, Shadow did have special powers no one else had, she could speak with animals and Pokemon, maybe this ‘Mario-Man’ spoke to her?
“Yes, his name is Mario-Man, he says he came from another world.” Shadow pulled out a small gem, it was peach in color, and it emitted a soft glow, ”What‘s that, Shadow?” Timby asked her, ”Oh, it‘s just a gem I found on the bank of the river, it‘s a very odd stone, I feel more powerful whenever I hold it.” Timby was just about to bring Mario-Man back to his house when suddenly soldiers surrounded them from all sides!
